Passion
I have a passion for creating beautiful images and always strive to reveal the best in every subject.
I have been a Maine wedding, portrait and commercial photographer since 1995 and I absolutely love my job. For me, being able to bring out your best in a fun, relaxed, no-stress photo session is what I enjoy and specialize in. I've often been told I make the process of getting your picture taken fun. I enjoy conversation and learning new, interesting things about my clients so I can capture the real person inside. After more than 28 years of doing this, my energy, enthusiasm and passion to create lasting photos that tell the stories of people's lives fuels me more than ever. Whether I'm photographing your wedding, your high school senior portraits, your business head shots or your family portraits, my focus is on you and creating pictures that you will be proud to show and hold onto forever.
Travel & Adventure
I enjoy traveling and being outdoors whenever I can. You’ll often find me hiking and kayaking. I climbed the 67 peaks in New England that are 4,000 feet or higher and am a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club’s 'New England Four Thousand Footers Club'. I am currently working on finishing the 'New England Hundred Highest List'.
In 2009 I took the trip of a lifetime, climbing Africa’s Mt. Kilimanjaro, followed by a week long safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater Highlands in Tanzania.
I've been to Iceland multiple times and find tremendous inspiration in the spectacular, sweeping landscapes found there.
I'm always looking forward to the next adventure!
“A person born with a talent they are meant to use will find their greatest happiness in using it.”
– Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
It would be my privilege to be your photographer. I truly love doing this everyday and can’t wait for the next opportunity to put all of my energy into making beautiful pictures for you.
I look forward to hearing from you soon!
A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed.
Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.
It's one thing to make a picture of what a person looks like, it's another thing to make a portrait of who they are.
The noblest pleasure is the joy of understanding.
Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.
